A battle rages on in the deep wilderness. Two wolf packs are at each other's throat. Ready to kill the other. One fighting for thir home the other fighting for blood. No one can tell for sure. The only force to decide the vistory is you.
This site is called Howlers of the Night, the sister site of Stone Paws. There are five wolf packs, one of them, Volkov, which is taken from Stone Paws. This site is a semi-realistic wolf role-playing site, free for all levels. There is no basic plot to this site, we will sometimes create a plot which would involve the whole site, or mainly have pack plots.

The packs have been living in fair peace through out the years. Quite nice, the peace has been. The four packs (Lunar Moon Pack, Amazon Lands, Fog Valley, and Twisted Desires) are friendly to each other. Maybe the reason is because they didn't often come near each other. But, this time, this year, this month, who knows, maybe even today, that will all change. Fights are starting to break out outside of packs... and inside of packs. Its getting deadlier and deadlier for parents or soon to be parents to have or raise pups. Wolves are dying, and its all because of some lousy wolves who are lazy, and won't hunt on their territory or such. All the wolves agree, surprisingly, that they should punish the wolves who do so. But, leaders haven't been enforcing it. Actually, they’ve been the ones saying for the wolves to do it!
Will you venture into modern Russia, and join a pack? Or, would you be a loner? Live the life as a wolf, or dog, or something along the Canis line. Hunt, mate, enjoy life, hate life, its all here in Wolves of the Woods. Live or die. Yep, that’s the code.

Where Will You Belong? Heaven... or Hell? Or perhaps even in between?
I own this site along with my friend, who goes by the name Izo there. We just opened this site at like 1am this morning (August 30th, 2009), and we have high hopes that we will soon have a lot of fun, friendly members. And already have a couple members!! So please, at least stop by and take a look around.
This is a wild horse/wolf rpg site, where supernaturals exist alongside the normal. Where wolves and wild horses both co-exist as well as divide from one another. The lands are peaceful, nature going about its destined and predicted course... but for how long can it last, before something happens, and the calm and silence is shattered? How much longer will the peace between the two species last, before trouble begins to turn them against one another, only to be the very beginnings of a mass war, where blood will stain the ground, and lives will be lost?
Can you live in peace with your natural killer, or your food? Do you have what it takes to hold the peace, or start a war? But perhaps the better question would be this... Do you have what it takes to survive?

Just when you thought that it was all over. . .
The human race has disappeared, leaving nothing but objects of the past. Wolves now reign supreme. Coming in a variety of colors, forms, and sizes. Mother Earth has granted them a precious gift. However, not all is well. The land is ravaged by The Flooding. Though the waters are now long gone, it has left a strong impact on the creatures and nature of Ralmasca. With the balance of nature disrupted, some areas are experiencing famines, droughts, and accidental death. The cause of this is unknown, however many are claiming that the Lord of Bazmoth is behind this.
You realize . . .
A war is soon to break out, and the wolves are getting restless. The Lord is planning to take over the land of Ralmasca, including all of the packs as his slaves. Survival is a must for any wolf. With lies, secrets, and misunderstandings within the shadows, things might not turn out for the best.
The land is decaying, the skies are hazy. Your decisions influence the outcome of the war.
Prepare yourself for the aftermath, for their will be devastation.

a long time ago a war raged on long and deadly. Many wolves died in the mist of battle, and even more were injured. eventually the war stopped and the wolves tried to set the land back to normal but it will never be the same.
Today you fight for food, for territory, for mates, and for survival. so do you dare step into the land of the wind runners?
