These are open plains that stretch between the herdlands and packlands. With all the open space it is an ideal place for both wolves and horses when it comes time for large armies to meet on the battlefield. Some say that if you stand still and listen the wind will sound like the fighting howls and shrieking neighs of battling equines and wolves from long ago.

| Wolven Dens |
| The Goldband
This is a small pocket of woodland in the southern end of Lore, one of its borders sharing the Silver Sea. Small creeks and meadows crisscross and dot the territory giving it a welcoming feel for just about any sort of wolf. Deer run constantly through the woodland but that's not the only reason wolves come here to live. The trees here are known as Golden Trees for a very good reason. Here the leaves are beautiful shades of golds and reds all throughout the year and the leaves never fall making it an enchanting place to call home.
